In response to the increasing cost of living and illegal lending in our local communities, we developed this show to raise awareness of the dangers of loan sharks and highlight support available. With our loan shark ‘Fairy Godbrother’, we reimagine the lives of well-known fairy-tale characters with North East dialect, pop-culture references and modern issues faced by our communities. We’ve engaged schools and community audiences with entertaining and educational performances since 2018.
